Die Corona-Pandemie hat in den letzten eineinhalb Jahren als Katalysator gewirkt für einen Paradigmenwechsel in der Film- und Kinolandschaft, der schon seit mehreren Jahren zu beobachten war. Teilweise ist er auf die fortschreitende Digitalisierung zurückzuführen, teilweise auf eine kommerziell ausgerichtete Filmförderungspolitik.
